Marble book holder - Rosso Levanto x Calacatta Viola (Pre-Order)
This item is currently available for pre-order. Orders will be dispatched between 1 to 15 August 2026.
Carved from two of the world's most storied marbles, Ketab is a book stand as much at home on a coffee table as it is in use. One slab in Calacatta Viola, one in Rosso Levanto - each quarried from opposite ends of the Mediterranean, each carrying millions of years of mineral history.
Calacatta Viola is distinguished by its white ground and deep rose-grey veining. Rosso Levanto answers in deep, near-black red with pale veining threaded through. Together, they create a contrast that is both deliberate and geological.
The form is deliberately simple. Two interlocking slabs, cut and fitted to hold books, magazines, or objects at a considered angle. No adhesive. No hardware. Just stone, weight, and geometry.
Honed finish. Natural variation in veining and tone is intrinsic to the material.
