The MarMar Espresso Set - Brown Emperador x Travertine

Carved from a single block of Brown Emperador marble, the MarMar Espresso Set is as much an object to be looked at as used. Sourced from the Alicante province of southeastern Spain, Emperador is one of the world's most recognised decorative marbles - its rich chocolate-brown ground laced with intricate cream and caramel veining formed over millions of years of sedimentary compression. Each piece is entirely unique, shaped by the natural geology of the marble itself.

The cup is paired with a sphere handle and saucer carved from travertine - its warm ivory tones and subtle natural pitting sitting in quiet contrast to the depth of the Emperador. Two stones, one object. Each piece entirely unique, shaped by the natural geology of the marble itself.

Each set includes two cups and two saucers, hand-finished and sealed with a food-safe protective coating.

Care & Use

Carved from natural marble and sealed with a food-safe protective finish, this piece is designed to be displayed as much as it is used. It is best suited to occasional and considered use — styling, presentation, or a single espresso on a slow morning.

As a natural stone object, it is not recommended for daily use. Heat, moisture, and repeated handling over time may affect the integrity of the stone and its components. Avoid prolonged contact with liquids, acidic beverages, and sudden temperature changes. Hand wash only. Handle with care.
